About Hayli Rhodes…. A Born Pack Leader

Raised on 34 acres in South Nanaimo Hayli has always been an outdoorsy and animal oriented person. Growing up with the responsibility of many animals from dogs, cats, horses, goats, bunnies, guinea pigs, birds and even a hedgehog, Hayli knew she wanted to work with animals but was unsure of which career path to follow.

In 2017 Hayli attended Vancouver Island University in the Legal Administrative  Assistant  Program. She acquired work as a legal assistant and realized this was not the right job for her. She was ready for a change.

In 2018 Hayli moved to Victoria. There she met Mia from Mission Accomplished K9 Services. She started performing adventure hikes and training under Mia’s wing. Two short years later, Erin from Doggy Style Dog Walking reached out and Hayli was given the opportunity to gain more pack experience. She led a total of eight pack hikes a week as well as working with private clients on her own. Hayli loved her work in Victoria but was ready to return to her hometown.

In April, 2021 Hayli moved back to Nanaimo and opened her business “Coastal Mountain K9” where her love and experience with dogs can continue to grow.
